Sounds like the worst idea ever. I wouldn't invest in this guy's business.

Kate Sturgill is right. Michigan wants to open up a ton of casinos, as well as virtually every other casino in America. Vegas did well when casinos weren't everywhere. Now, it may as well just be a desert. Add to the fact that the crime is rising and more lowlives from LA are moving in, and there's no point gambling there anymore. What's worse is that the machines are so tight and the gambling stinks. I'll just go to the Caribbean or Europe instead, lol.

Posted on: MGM lions, like other free attractions, posed dilemma
I spend about 5 minutes looking at the Lions and I move on. Smart move. Kids don't spend money to gamble. Why keep the Lions around?

Last time I was there, the strip was getting really dodgy, and the police didn't seem to really have control of the place. The casinos make zero effort to make sure their walkways and the exterior of the place are well policed. It's crazy because they have more than enough money to hire people or police to take care of the area around their establishments. Unless Vegas cleans out the riff-raff, they will continue to lose more tourists.
