Our Mission: To conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends.
Our Vision: A world where the diversity of life thrives, and people act to conserve nature for its own sake and its ability to fulfill our needs and enrich our lives.
Our Goals: Resilient Lands, Resilient Waters, and Climate Action
Fundraising Opportunities: We look to Nevadans who are willing to preserve, protect and restore by investing in our work so that future generations will be able to enjoy the same beauty we enjoy today. Our three top priorities are:
• Resilient Lands: We are focused on wildfire mitigation, restoration of both range and forest habitat after fires, acquisition of environmentally important areas, and outcome-based grazing.
• Resilient Waters: As the driest state in the union, protecting our rivers, streams, lakes and groundwater is critically important. We map the water sources, work with decision-makers to apply our science to their process, and work with water providers to support protection of the water supply for users.
• Climate Action: Our work in this important area is focused on alternative and sustainable energy, carbon sequestration and storage, and working with policy makers to apply scientific findings to inform decision making.
Volunteer Opportunities: We have volunteer events throughout the year and are always eager for more volunteer support. Please email [email protected] to sign up.
Giving Opportunities: Donors support our work through one of the following vehicles:
• Cash donations (cash, check, credit card)
• Grant awards
• In-kind materials
• Sponsorships for programs or special events
• Employee volunteering at a TNC preserve
