The new Patient Protection Commission members, appointed by Gov. Joe Lombardo, are: Bayo Curry-Winchell, Wenette Simons, Jalyn McKelleb, Marilyn Kirkpatrick, Bethany Sexton, Walter Davis, Andria Peterson and Floreine Kahn.

Three members of Las Vegas Realtors were elected to serve on the 2024 executive Board of the Las Vegas chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management. They are: Natalie Allred, 2023 president of the Commercial Alliance Las Vegas; Joshua Campa, 2024 president-elect of LVR; and Angelina Scarcelli, immediate past president of CALV. Other IREM officers and board members elected to serve that organization in 2024 include: President Samantha Rupert, Vice President of Membership Anesha Choice, Vice President of Education Sunshine Bono, Past President Robert Perkins, Treasurer Jennifer Torres, and Executive Board Member Brenda Lovato.

Opportunity Village announced its 2024 board of directors for the nonprofit’s two governing bodies. Bob Glaser, senior vice president and senior client strategist at BNY Wealth Management, was named chairperson for the Opportunity Village Board of Directors, taking over for Sarah Guindy, who served for two years. W. West Allen, an intellectual property and federal court attorney with Howard & Howard, will continue as chairperson for the nonprofit’s foundation board. The board of directors also welcomed new members Kelsey Stegall, Jessica Lucero, and Brian Kleven. In addition, Jeremy Aguero and Marc Badain moved from the board to the foundation board.

Las Vegas public relations and marketing firm Connected Communications promoted Emily Hollister to public relations and social media specialist. Hollister joined the firm in 2023 She has helped clients earn national and local media placements, while also implementing effective social media strategy through content creation.

The fifth All’Antico Vinaio location in the United States and first in Nevada is now open at UnCommons. The Florence, Italy-founded shop is open for dine-in and takeout from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; and 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The Downtown Vegas Alliance, a nonprofit organization that connects its members and Downtown stakeholders to influence growth in Las Vegas, announced that Audrea Hooper joined the organization’s board as engagement chair. Hooper brings more than 15 years of experience executing large-scale events, brand awareness campaigns, tours, festivals, product launches, exclusive private parties and more to the role.
