A community free of domestic violence built by hope, resiliency and empowerment.


OUR GOALS


■ Provide comprehensive services, including crisis intervention, to all individuals experiencing domestic violence.


■ Expand our capacity to support and shelter victims and their families to meet growing need for crisis and prevention services.


■ Advocate for public policies that work toward elimination of domestic violence and relief for its victims.


■ Implement preventative measures to stop the generational cycle of abuse.


■ Educate the public and increase community involvement.

SafeNest and the North West Area Command (NWAC) are partnering to reduce domestic violence in the community. PS417 volunteers provide crisis intervention to domestic violence victims on-site, immediately following the incident. Visit SafeNest.org for more information.

Plan an event for SafeNest


Hold a drive to collect food or clothing for families located in our confidential shelter. In addition to nonperishable food and paper goods, SafeNest needs: new pajamas, boy’s clothes (ages 5-17), women’s plus size clothing and other basic needs items.
