Self-parking is no longer free at the Miracle Mile Shops garage on the Las Vegas Strip, mall officials announced today.

Those parking inside the garage — near Planet Hollywood — will be charged up to $15 per day.

Through the statement from a Miracle Mile spokeswoman, the shopping center indicated that the paid parking policies of other Strip properties played a role in the decision.

“We have continued to monitor how the current uptick of visitors and the return of paid parking to surrounding properties has impacted our parking garage capacity,” the statement read. “In an effort to ensure parking is easily accessible and reserved for resort guests, we have made the decision to move to paid parking.”

The cost to park between one and four hours is $12, officials said. It’s $15 for four to 24 hours. It remains free to park one hour or less.
