A Las Vegas Strip restaurant has closed after one of its employees tested positive for COVID-19.

Caesars Entertainment released a statement Saturday saying Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen & Bar at the Linq will temporarily close as a precaution.

The statement did not indicate when the employee tested positive or where at the restaurant the employee worked.

When Linq officials learned of the positive test, according to the statement, they contacted the Southern Nevada Health District to begin the contact tracing process.

No timeline was offered for when the restaurant would return.

Nevada casinos were allowed to reopen June 4 after being shuttered for more than two months due to coronavirus concerns.
