Las Vegas Realtors announced the results of the association’s annual election of officers and board members, with longtime local Realtors Lee Barrett and Merri Perry serving as 2023 president and president-elect, respectively. Also elected were: Stephanie Grant, vice president; Joshua Campa, treasurer; Brandon Roberts, immediate past president; Wendy DiVecchio, CEO; and directors Nancy Anderson, Britney Gaitan, Geoffrey Lavell, Shane Nguyen, Bobbie Starr Dust and Paul Rich. Directors not up for reelection who will continue to serve include Chris Bishop, Elie Morris, Geoffrey Zahler, Natalie Allred (2024 Commercial Alliance Las Vegas Chair) and Steven Khalilzadegan (2024 MLS Chair).

SVN The Equity Group announced the promotion of Lindsay Garner to managing director. She will continue to oversee the property management department and assist with the company’s business development efforts and operations.

Goodwill of Southern Nevada announced the promotion of Morgan Waldron to director of marketing and communications. She will oversee all grand opening marketing, manage all media buying, public relations, store signage and communications supporting Goodwill’s retail operations and workforce development services.

De Castroverde Law Group announced that two of its attorneys were named 2022 Mountain States Super Lawyers Rising Stars. Danielle Holt, who specializes in animal law, and Kyle Morishita, an immigration attorney, both received the recognition. Rising Stars honors fewer than 2.5% of attorneys in a state or region for peer recognition and professional achievements.

Las Vegas Athletic Clubs has promoted Emily Hamill to vice president of marketing and member engagement. She will continue to drive new member acquisition and focus on increasing member retention and engagement.

The City of Henderson named Jared Smith its new director of economic development and tourism. He will lead the advancement and implementation of the city’s economic development efforts through business recruitment, retention and expansion. Smith has a 15-year career in economic development and most recently served as chief operating officer with the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance.

ProAm Sports Medicine has named Dr. Jaimee Imperial as partner and medical director. This addition allows the company to provide primary care and family practice services to their patients. Dr. Imperial previously has worked at primary care clinics in California and the Philippines.

StartUpNV, Nevada’s nonprofit business accelerator and incubator for scalable startups, announced that business owner, investor and community advocate Myisha Boyce will join its board of directors. Boyce is the founding member and president of M.Y.S. Firm, a woman- and minority-owned professional services organization.

Lisa Messina is joining the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority as chief sales officer to lead and help grow meeting, convention and trade show sales for Las Vegas and for the Las Vegas Convention Center. She will start in early September. Messina joins the LVCVA from Caesars Entertainment, where she was senior vice president of sales responsible for driving revenue strategy and leading a team of 120 sales directors.
