Virgin Hotels Las Vegas officials have branded the next three days as the property’s “Unstoppable Weekend Celebration.”

The occasion, aimed at boosting the revamped resort’s visibility, started Thursday night with a concert by Christina Aguilera and Flo Rida.

Sir Richard Branson — the English business mogul and founder of the Virgin Group — is in town for the festivities, which will be capped Sunday by electronic musician Deadmau5 performing at the recently opened Elia Beach Club.

Branson said he’s optimistic about the prospects for the resort, which debuted in March following an extensive remodeling at the previous Hard Rock Hotel.

“We do not get involved in a project unless we’re absolutely convinced that, when it’s completed, it’s enhancing the Virgin brand,” Branson said. “We’ve had teams of people making sure that all the details are completely Virgin. There are a lot of magic moments throughout this (property).”

As Las Vegas continues to recover from the coronavirus pandemic, Branson said he was encouraged by the number of people out and about when he arrived this week.

“It’s so nice to see the streets full of people,” Branson said. “It’s great that we’ve gotten back to some normality. I would just beg everybody who has not been vaccinated to get vaccinated.”

The multilevel, Mykonos-inspired beach club is designed with the décor and ambiance to reflect the popular Greek leisure destination. There’s a Mediterranean-colored pool with an adjacent stage, bar area, multiple cabanas and more. Take a look at the photos.
