The design-build team of Ames Construction with Horrocks Engineers won the bid for the Interstate 15/GTarnet interchange project, north of Apex Industrial Park. Plans call for upgrading the interchange and widening U.S. Highway 93 to two lanes in each direction for five miles from the Garnet Interchange to just north of Apex Power Parkway. Other work consists of reconstructing a frontage road along Apex Industrial Park with improved access points and enhanced intersections at Apex Great Basin Way, Apex Power Parkway and Grand Valley Parkway.

DC Building Group finished construction on the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation facility and The Caring Place. The facility will be dubbed the “Britney Spears Campus” due to her fundraising efforts of over $1 million. Almany Architecture served as the architect of record. DC Building Group teamed up with Penta Building Group and other subcontractors to donate construction time and funds needed.

SR Construction completed two of the valley’s first neighborhood hospitals by a joint venture between Dignity Health and Emerus. The company was the general contractor for the North Las Vegas campus and Blue Diamond campus.

Dermody Properties completed LogistiCenter at Las Vegas Boulevard, a 546,480-square-foot facility in North Las Vegas. United Construction Co. was the design-build contractor and Colliers International is the broker.

Henderson partnered with the LandWell Co., Green Our Planet and area residents to build an outdoor garden classroom at Edna F. Hinman Elementary School.

Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging opened a location at 800 N. Gibson Road, Suite 110. It’s the company’s eighth location in Southern Nevada.

WestCare Nevada received certification to operate two Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics in Reno and Las Vegas. The clinics will provide a comprehensive range of person-centered and trauma-informed mental health and substance use disorder services for all ages regardless of ability to pay.
